Parents
We provide flexible childcare and strive to meet the needs of parents. We operate a successful key-worker approach that facilitates the same key person throughout your time at Close to Home we believe this enhances the emotional and practical support to families at Close To Home.

Close to Home keeps a Daily Diary record for each child which displays photographs, observations and key information . Staff and parents both record information in this book and work together in partnership to develop and monitor children’s progress. This has proved to be very successful in maintaining individual care plans and we have strong key worker/parent relationships.
Your child will develop a folder of pieces of key creativity over the terms they are with us. This helps us to celebrate together his or her accomplishments and development.
We believe that by working together as a communicative community we can achieve a broad understanding of individuals 'cultural backpacks' Active communication ensures we gain knowledge of what is important to your family and key homelife information that influences your child's learning journey.

You and your key-worker will meet termly to celebrate achievements and catch up on whats important for your family and your child. We will also use this time to identify how we can best support you and your family in any areas discussed.
