At Close to Home we know that children enjoy being with other children and thrive in their company.

We offer a safe environment where the needs of your children can be met with a range of exciting and engaging activities for kids aged 4 to 16.

Children mix with other children from different backgrounds. This encourages children to be tolerant towards each other and builds an opportunity for children to become aware of other’s needs.  At Close to Home we aim to ensure the young people of today develop their confidence through engaging in a variety of activities with a variety of age groups from within the community.

We can offer as little or as much school holiday childcare as you require. If you need a day’s shopping at Bluewater, a few days to catch up on the paperwork, or full cover whilst you are at work, Close to Home offers a flexible, contract-free, hassle-free solution.

Today’s children are very discerning, so we provide a variety of age appropriate activities with lots of choice. All of this takes place in a dedicated space that is secure, purpose-built, and with its own outdoor area.  Most of all the children have fun! It's like having friends round to play each night but we clean up the mess!

Our Summer Holiday activities and programmes include arts and crafts, games, sports, ceramics, drama, dance, art, cookery and growing vegetables. To maximise choice, a range of other activities are available at all times and we have a Wii, PlayStation, laptops, board games and outdoor games.

We go to the beach, the zoo, the farm, the aquarium and much, much more! Homemade meals are always available, we pride ourselves on being a home-from-home, right on your doorstep.
